Turkey’s Euro star set for Arsenal move

Arsenal, the English Premier League runner-up, is trying to sign Turkey’s star player in the current Euro 2024 finals in Germany, Ferdi Kadioglu, and has sent an offer to his club Fenerbahce, according to the local Turkish platform Ajanspor.

Kadioglu has been impressive at left-back for Turkey at Euro 2024, helping them to qualify as runners-up in Group 6, before beating Austria in the last 16 and reaching the top eight for the first time since 2008.

The 24-year-old Kadioglu left a strong impression on the fans, both offensively and defensively, and European media outlets considered him the best left-back in the tournament ever, which attracted the attention of leading clubs in the Old Continent, most notably Arsenal.

According to various sources, Arsenal are currently trying to sign Turkish player Ferdi Kadioglu as soon as possible.

Arsenal are not the only club interested in signing Kadioglu, as media reports have reported that officials from Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and West Ham United have sent verbal inquiries to Fenerbahce about the player.

Kadioglu’s market value is 21 million euros, and he is under contract with Fenerbahce until the summer of 2026.

The platform indicated Photomac Turkish, that the new coach of Fenerbahce, the Portuguese Jose Mourinho, will have the first and final say in the future of Kadioglu, who has 19 international matches with the Ottoman national team, which he started in 2022 with the former coach Stefan Kuntz.
