The Syrian national team is preparing to meet North Korea at a camp in Dubai

The first Syrian national team conducted its first training session on the field of Shabab Al-Ahly Stadium in Dubai in its camp, which began today in the United Arab Emirates, in preparation for the matches between North Korea and Japan in the fifth and sixth rounds of the second group competitions in the double Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Saudi Arabia Asian Cup.

The training was attended by the new national team goalkeeper, Esteban Jalil, who comes from the Argentinian club Quilmes and trained under the supervision of the Syrian national team goalkeeper coach, Issam Al-Hadary.
