The most represented club on England’s Euro 2024 roster

The club most represented by players on England’s Euro 2024 list is not Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, or even Arsenal, but rather the mid-table club, Crystal Palace, which is a perhaps shocking surprise for followers of European football and the English national team in particular.

Crystal Palace – tenth in the English Premier League last season – provided coach Gareth Southgate’s roster with four players: goalkeeper Dean Henderson, centre-back Mark Guehi, midfielder Adam Wharton, and distinguished playmaker Eberechi Eze.

On every date Crystal Palace Since 1905, 20 different players have been included in the England national team, the first of whom was left-back Horace Colclough in 1914 against Wales, while coach Graham Taylor included 4 players from the team at once in 1991.

In 2024, coach Southgate included 4 new players from Crystal Palace to the England national team, bringing the number to 24.

What is interesting is that Crystal Palace has several international players who will be active in the European Cup and Copa America this summer, such as Danish Joachim Andersen, Colombian duo Daniel Munoz and Jefferson Lerma, and United States defender Chris Richards.
