Sabalenka sets up a date with Gauff in the US Open final


Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka qualifies for the US Open final for tennis After defeating American Madison Keys to set up a match with fellow citizen Coco Gauff.

Sabalenka is seeking to win the second Grand Slam title in her career after winning the Australian Open this year, while Gauff is trying to win the first major championship title in her career, noting that this is the second time she has reached a Grand Slam final after she lost the Roland Garros final in 2022 to Poland’s Iga Szwiatek.

With her victory in the semi-finals, Gauff achieved her 11th victory in a row, which is considered the best record in her career.

Sabalenka and Gauff previously faced each other in five matches, of which the American player won three of them in her favor compared to two for the Belarusian. Sabalenka hopes to win the 14th title in her career, while Gauff hopes to win the sixth title.
