Elections will be held next May 11, to determine the identity of the new president of the Football League to succeed Wadih Al-Jari, who did not complete his term due to his imprisonment by the local authorities for investigation, in files related to the way he ran the federation during the past years.

The first list is headed by Ziad Tlemcen, the former star of the Tunisian national team and the Tunisian club Esperance, and the second is Jalal Taqia, who has held several positions as an official in the Football Association, and worked as an advisor to the former Minister of Youth and Sports, Tariq Diab, and president of the Tunisian Sports for All Federation, while the third list concerns the official Wassef. Jalil, who worked for many years in the position of former Vice President of the Union, Wadih Al-Jari, before he was excluded from the election race.
