Jabr defeated the young Abu Bakr Khaslakhano from the neutral individual athletes team on points 4-1, after his victory in the round of 16 over the Serbian Mikhail Kayaja with a score of 6-1.
This is the first time that Jabr (27 years old) has competed. Olympic GamesHe won the African Championship title in 2022 and 2023.
If he qualifies for the final, the Egyptian wrestler will at least get a silver medal, and if he loses his next fight against Iranian Mohammad Hadi Sarafi, he will play for the bronze.

In freestyle wrestling, Algerian Ibtissam Doudou lost to American Sarah Ann Hedelbrandt 0-10, and Egyptian Nada Madani lost to Chinese Ziqi Feng 2-7, in the 50 kg weight class round of 16.
