Morocco’s Olympic team loses to Spain and loses Olympic gold

The Spanish team responded quickly with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area by one of its players, which goalkeeper Mohamedi saved with great difficulty in minute (53).

The Spanish pressure continued to adjust the score, and they did so in the (66) minute after player Fermin Lopez stole the ball from the Moroccan players and scored a goal in Morocco’s net.

With this loss, the Moroccan Olympic team missed the opportunity to win the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and will be content to play for the bronze medal in the match to determine third and fourth place between the loser of the second semi-final, which will bring together France and Egypt.
