Butterfly Kaylia Nemour gave Algeria its first gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics after winning the artistic gymnastics uneven bars final.
Algerian Nemour (17 years old) had taken fifth place in the individual all-around final of artistic gymnastics, last Saturday, August 1, to make up for the loss in the parallel bars final and win the gold.
Nimour had achieved distinguished results in 2024, and was able to win three gold medals in the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in the rounds of Germany, Azerbaijan and Qatar, respectively.

Algerian gymnast Nemour dazzled everyone at the Paris Arena on Sunday, August 4, and was able to win the gold medal in the artistic gymnastics final on the uneven bars.
The Algerian gymnast shone in a remarkable way, and presented a wonderful artistic performance that was applauded by everyone in the hall, to obtain the best rating in the final, 15.700, and snatch first place from the rest of the competitors.
Chinese gymnast Qiu Qiu Nan came in second place with a score of 15,500 points, while American gymnast Sunisa Li came in third place with a score of 14,800 points.
