Jordan’s Deputy King Meets Paris Olympics Participants

Today, Thursday, the Deputy King of Jordan, His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, met with the Olympic and Paralympic delegations participating in the two Olympic Games And the Paralympics, which will be hosted by the French capital, Paris, this summer.

The meeting was attended by Princess Aya Bint Faisal, President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation and member of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Olympic Committee, Vice President of the Olympic Committee Dr. Sari Hamdan, and Secretary General of the Olympic Committee Rana Al-Saeed.

Attend part of the training

The Crown Prince, in the presence of Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, followed part of the training of the Jordanian national teams during his visit to the Olympic Preparation Center in Amman.

The Olympic Games in Paris will open on July 26 and continue until August 11, while the Paralympic Games will be held on August 28 and continue until September 8.

Representatives of Jordan

The Jordanian delegation in the Olympic Games is represented by: Taekwondo quartet Juliana Al-Sadiq, Rama Abu Al-Rab, Saleh Al-Sharbaty and Zaid Mustafa; boxing trio Hussein Ashish, Ziad Ashish and Obada Al-Kasbah; national gymnastics team player Ahmed Abu Al-Saud; and table tennis team player Zaid Abu Yaman.

Along with the Jordanian swimming team players Amr Al-War and Karina Al-Balbisi, and the track and field player Moath Al-Khawaldeh in the marathon race competitions.

Age of Qrada

Jordan will also be represented in the Paralympic Games by: Ahmed Al Hindi, a player from the athletics team, in the shot put competition, and 7 athletes from the weightlifting team, namely Jamil Al-Shabli, Moataz Al-Junaidi, Tharwat Al-Hajjaj, Asmaa Issa, Abdul Karim Khattab, Omar Qaradah, and Mohammed Al-Sheniti.
