Since 2018, the confrontations between Al-Ahly and Pyramids have taken on a special character, after the “Sky Blues” became one of the competitors for championships in Egyptian football.

The rivalry between Al-Ahly and Pyramids reached its peak in the past two years after the Red Devils denied Pyramids the first title in its history by defeating it in the 2021-2022 Egypt Cup final and then the 2022-2023 Egyptian Super Cup.

The competition between the two teams is heating up this season for the Egyptian League title, and it can be said that no one is able to stop Al-Ahly and Pyramids in their competition for the Egyptian League title, and resolving the clash between them is left to them in two heavyweight confrontations that can be described as the championship final, the first next Friday, and the second only 10 days from now.
