The Egyptian team succeeded in defeating Norway after a difficult match, during which the first half ended in a positive tie (12-12), while the Pharaohs excelled in the second half (14-13), so the handball men qualified for the quarter-finals with a score of (26-25).
With this result, the Egyptian team’s tally reached 5 points from two wins, a draw and a loss, occupying third place in Group Two, securing one of the qualifying spots for the quarter-finals of the competition.
Egypt Handball Team Results in the Olympics
The Egyptian team started its matches in the Paris Olympics by defeating Hungary in the first round with a score of (35-32), while it suffered a difficult defeat against Denmark in the second round with a score of (30-27), then tied with France in the third round with a score of (26-26), before defeating Norway (26-25).
In the handball competitions at the Paris 2024 Olympics, the top four teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals of the competition.
