The club announced Chelsea English: English: English: Today, Sunday, August 11, announced the signing of Portuguese star Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton, to be the new attacking line for the blue team in the new season.
The London club did not announce the details of the deal, and merely posted a tweet on its official social media accounts, welcoming its new player, which read: “Ready to make his mark in blue… Welcome to Chelsea Neto.”
The Italian journalist revealed Fabrizio Romano On the details of Chelsea’s contract with Pedro Neto, indicating that the deal cost the Blues 60 million euros in addition to another 3 million in variables, with the player remaining at “Stamford Bridge” for 6 years, with a clause allowing the London club to extend the contract for an additional year.
Immediately after completing his contract with his new club, Neto (10 international matches and one goal) moved to the team’s stronghold, where his new teammates were playing a friendly match against Inter Milan in preparation for the new season, and he followed the match from the stands.

Pedro Neto is good at playing in different attacking positions, and this is what he showed during his experience with Wolverhampton during the past five seasons, where he was one of his team’s best players ever in the front line, whether as a right or left winger, and he is also good at playing behind the centre forward.
During his experience with the “Wolves” club, Pedro Neto played a total of 135 matches, and succeeded in scoring 14 goals and providing 24 assists. Before that, he had a short experience with the Italian Lazio after leaving the Portuguese League via Sporting Braga.
Chelsea, led by their new Italian coach Enzo Maresca, are seeking to compete strongly for titles next season, after their struggles last season under the leadership of the sacked Argentine Mauricio Pochettino, as the team only achieved sixth place, qualifying for the European Conference League, without qualifying for the Champions League.
The Blues’ Premier League season kicks off on August 18 when they host defending champions Manchester City in the first round of fixtures, before travelling away to face Neto’s former club Wolverhampton Wanderers in the second round a week later.
