Algerian star Baghdad Bounedjah led his new team Al Shamal to an important 2-1 victory over Al Sadd in the first round of the competition. I want a star league 2024-25, while Al Duhail defeated Qatar SC 6-0 during the same round.

Before that, the referee cancelled a goal for Qatar Club scored by the Moroccan Badr Banoun, due to offside.
