He added: Now the task will also be difficult, because the level of all teams is the same level. The African teams have developed a lot and have great ambitions, and we must be at the level of Algerian football and its reputation, and the Algerian national team, which has always honored the national flag.

He continued: “We hope that there will be a strong and positive reaction from the team against Uganda, and we will give everything we have in this match, and then we will prepare a tally for the team during this round of World Cup qualifiers.

Mahrez and Slimani are Algerian national team players

In his statements, Nguez returned to the loss of the national team “The greensAgainst Guinea, where he apologized to the Algerian fans, saying: “We apologize to the Algerian people after the loss against Guinea, and to the fans who were present in the match, and we did not wait for this defeat, just like the fans.” Regarding the readiness of the Greens players to face Uganda, he stated: “All The players are ready and prepared to play the confrontation against Uganda, except for Brahimi, who injured his back muscle.”

It is worth noting that Nguez is considered the second assistant coach of the Algerian national team in the technical staff of president coach Vladimir Petkovic. The Algerian coach also previously worked in the technical staff of the “Greens” team, accompanied by former Frenchman Christian Gourcuff.
