The latest reports have confirmed that Apple supports the iOS 18 update with the generative artificial intelligence feature that pushes the operating system to a new level, to be presented for the first time in the iPhone 16 series next year.
Apple decided to stop working on the iOS 18 update for a short period in order to fix the errors detected in this update, but this decision does not affect Apple’s timetable for officially launching this update.
In his latest report, analyst Mark Gurman explained some new details about the iOS 18 operating system and the iPhone 16 series.
The “Mark Gurman” report confirms that the upcoming iOS 18 update is the largest operating system update, with which Apple compensates for not making radical changes to the design of the next generation of iPhone phones.
The iOS 18 update aims to focus specifically on generative artificial intelligence technology, which has already occupied many smartphone manufacturers in the recent period, with Apple starting to compete with Google and OpenAI with the company’s own technology.
On the other hand, the report did not clarify the features provided by Apple in the “generative AI” technology through the iOS 18 update, but Apple aims to push this technology to compatible iPhone phones, starting with the iPhone 16 series.
It is noteworthy that Apple indicated that the iOS 18 update combines a new design with improvements in security and privacy standards and also brings significant improvements in performance.
