Amoura agrees with his new club and the official announcement will be within days

The Algerian international striker and star of Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise, Mohamed El Amine Amoura (24 years old), has already agreed with his new club to move to it in the current summer Mercato 2024, according to newspaper sources. L’Equipe French issued Wednesday, July 3.

It has become inevitable for the promising striker to leave Union Saint-Gilloise after many European offers arrived for the player recently, in light of his historic season with the team, during which he scored 22 goals at amazing levels that attracted great attention.

Amoura agrees with his new club

According to L’Equipe, Amoura has agreed with the German club Wolfsburg to move to it this summer, without revealing the value of the financial deal, which may range between 18 and 25 million euros, while the player’s contract with Wolfsburg will extend for five years.

Union Saint-Gilloise had signed the Algerian star in the summer of 2023 for 4 million euros, coming from Lugano, Switzerland, and in just one season the club will earn no less than 15 million euros from him, if he moves to Wolfsburg.

Amoura is the most expensive player in the Union Saint-Gilloise team, and ranked sixth in the list of the most expensive Algerian players, behind Rayan Ait Nouri (35 million euros), Ismael Bennacer (30), Amine Gouiri (25), Said Benrahma (20) and Fares Chaibi (18).
