On Monday evening, the Jordanian club Al-Ramtha concluded the deal to sign the Syrian national team defender, Youssef Mohammed, after negotiations that continued throughout the past week.

In the coming days, the Al-Ramtha Club management seeks to strengthen its ranks with more foreign professionals, as the player registration period will remain open until the middle of next month.
Who is Youssef Mohamed?
Youssef Mohammed began his football career with Al-Wahda of Syria in the 2017-2018 season, where he finished third in the local league championship with the team.
Youssef, 25, revealed remarkable defensive capabilities, and played an important role in Al-Wahda’s coronation of the Syrian Cup in the 2019-2020 season, and in the following season he won the Super Cup title with it in the 2020-2021 season.
After four seasons playing for Al-Wahda of Syria, Youssef Mohammed represented his country’s national teams in all age groups, before undergoing his first professional experience abroad in the 2020-2021 season when he moved to the Bahraini Al-Ahli team, after which he returned to the Syrian League through the Al-Jaish team.
Youssef may participate in Al-Ramtha’s match against Al-Hussein Irbid, the title holder, in the second round of the championship. Jordanian League Scheduled for next Friday at Al-Hassan Stadium in Irbid.
