Ahmed Sayed Zizo leaves Egypt-Morocco match due to injury
Ahmed Sayed Zizo fell to the ground in the (11) minute of the first half, after suffering a muscle strain without any intervention or contact with any of the Atlas Youth players.
The medical staff, led by the Olympic team doctor, Tarek Suleiman, intervened to try to revive Ahmed Sayed Zizo so that he could complete the match, but the Zamalek winger was unable to continue playing.
The Brazilian coach, Rogerio Micale, was forced to replace Zizo and decided in the (12) minute to push the player Mustafa Saad Messi to replace the injured Zamalek winger.
Morocco ends the first half leading Egypt by two goals
The Moroccan Olympic team ended the first half of the match against Egypt in the third-place match in the Olympic football competition, leading the Pharaohs by two clean goals.
The Moroccan national team surprised its Egyptian counterpart, and scored two goals in just six minutes. Abdessamad Ezzalzouli succeeded in scoring the first goal in minute (23) with an assist from Zakaria El Wahdi. In minute (26), it was the turn of the scorer of the first goal to create the second goal scored by Soufiane Rahimi.
Egypt won the quarter-finals against Paraguay, but lost to France in the semi-finals (3-1) after extra time. As for Morocco, it won the qualification card as runner-up in its group and qualified for the semi-finals at the expense of the United States, but lost to Spain (2-1), so the two teams met in the third-place match.
