Ahli Tripoli and Al-Nasr achieve victory in their first matches in the hexagonal

Ahly Tripoli started its campaign to defend its title Libyan League With a difficult victory over its neighbor Al-Madina 2-1 in the first round of the coronation stage competitions to determine the champion of the local Premier League in football in the current sports season 2023-24, which is hosted by the Italian capital, Rome, until July 22.

A 1-1 draw decided the match between Al-Ahly Benghazi and its neighbor Al-Hilal in the match that brought the two teams together this evening, Saturday, at the “Gran Sasso Di” stadium, as part of the matches of the first round of the crowning stage’s six-team tournament.

Talha Rizk opened the scoring for his team Al-Ahly Benghazi in the 28th minute of the first half, and Al-Hilal played from the 46th minute with ten players after the expulsion of its player Ahmed Saad by the Italian referee Simone Sousa. However, the team managed to score the equalizer through the efforts of Moatasem Al-Taib in the 88th minute from a set piece that settled in the net of goalkeeper Murad Al-Wahishi, so each team came out with a point from the match.
