Mancini assigns Al-Dosari, Gharib and Kanno to special tasks
According to what was published by the Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper, the Saudi Al-Akhdar’s training lasted an hour and a half yesterday on a field inside the hotel where the team’s delegation resides in Newcastle, and the Italian Roberto Mancini focused on the players’ positions and the execution of set pieces.
The newspaper indicated that Roberto Mancini assigned Salem Al-Dosari, Muhammad Kanno and Abdul Rahman Gharib to implement corners and direct and indirect free kicks and develop attacks through them.
The Saudi national team will face its South Korean counterpart, September 12, during its camp in the English city of Newcastle United.
The Saudi national team is preparing to compete in the Asian Nations Cup in Qatar, next January, after being in Group Six with Oman, Thailand, and Kyrgyzstan.
