The Saudi national team is looking for its 101st friendly victory against Costa Rica
“Al-Akhdar” played 255 friendly matches throughout its history, according to the “Saudi National Team Statistics” website.
During 255 friendly matches played by the national team SaudiAl-Akhdar managed to win 100 matches, draw 70, and defeat 85 others.
During 255 friendly matches, Saudi national team players scored 341 goals, while the Falcons conceded 285 others.
The Saudi national team played its first test match in late 1967, against its Tunisian counterpart, in Riyadh on December 1, and ended with “Al-Akhdar” winning by four.

The team is preparing Saudi To face Costa Rica in a friendly match, this Friday evening, at St. James Park, in Newcastle, England, in the first appearance of Italian coach Roberto Mancini after assuming responsibility for the technical leadership of the Greens.
The Saudi national team match against Costa Rica will be held at 10:00 pm Cairo and Makkah Al-Mukarramah time, and 11:00 pm Abu Dhabi time.
The Saudi national team will play two friendly matches during its current camp, the first against Costa Rica today, and the second against South Korea on September 12.
